I am a hybrid design engineer with talent for creating elegant user interfaces, instinctive user experiences, and expertly crafted code. I focus on building scalable design systems and leading multi functional teams. I collaborate with designers, business leads, product owners, and engineers equally all while solving complex problems with an engineering mindset yet keeping the users needs and beautiful design at top of mind.

Skills
S12+ years of Web and Front-end application development experience with strong working knowledge of core UX design process, principles, and techniques. Advanced expertise in designing, prototyping, and developing from wireframes and interactions to production.
General Front End
The basics. HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We can accomplish so much with web fundamentals. From designing in the browser, to building advanced prototypes and applications.
Frameworks & Tools
Sass is my absolute favorite tool and what i'm most proficient with. In my current position - Angular is the choice for all of our apps along with all the nice Typescript tooling thats offered.
Design Tools
Beyond the whiteboard I currently reach for Sketch - before sharing on Invision. I like to get to the browser quickly - for rapid prototyping I prefer handlebars.js and the simple templating it offers.
UI Testing Tools
Codefactor for automated code quality reviews, Storybook for component isolation, Jest for unit testing, Stylelint for scss linting, and Percy provides visual regression testing.
